NEHA KARAM KHANNA

Neha Karam Khanna is an internationally acclaimed Bollywood, Bharatnatyam, and Semi-Classical dance performer, choreographer, and educator. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Neha has trained her students to perform in and around the GTA and other parts of the world including England, India, and the United States. Inspired by her Indian roots and her entrepreneurial drive, she founded Dance Expression in 2010. Neha has participated in a variety of stage shows, music videos, and competitions around the world earning her awards and recognition for her work.

She has worked extensively on film sets alongside Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan, acted in lead roles in Tollywood (Telugu and Bengali), choreographed and performed with Bollywood singer, Nikhita Gandhi, and created news content on NDTV 24/7 and Rogers TV Daytime Toronto.

Neha is formally trained in Bharatnatyam from Sagaya Rani James of Trinity Dance Academy in Toronto. She also studied classical and contemporary jazz and western forms of dance with the world-renowned Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts in Mumbai.

Neha also has a master’s degree in Journalism from Ryerson University and a B.A. in Criminology from York University. She dedicates her time to inspiring and motivating young women to be themselves. Neha loves to write, participate in community events and advocate for mental health.

Neha participated in the Miss World Canada 2013 beauty pageant and was a pioneering host on the Bollywood radio show – CMR 101.3 HD3 for three years. She volunteers for Girl Guides of Canada, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada, Lions Club International and Sathya Sai Organization. Neha actively believes, it’s about “Beauty with a Purpose” – being beautiful inside and out.
